My story
Care shaped by lived experience.
With my first baby, I struggled with postpartum rage, breastfeeding challenges (especially when returning to work), undiagnosed ADHD, exhaustion, and the stress of a home that felt out of control. I longed for community, support, and someone who understood what I was feeling.
As I grew into a mother of three, new challenges surfaced—unsafe daycare environments, unreliable nannies, caregivers who brought their own children who mistreated mine, and the fear of wanting to homeschool but not knowing where to start. I didn’t see anyone who looked like me offering homeschool support, and the help that did exist was often unaffordable.
For over four years, I’ve been doing this work professionally—supporting families through the fourth trimester, guiding early learning at home, and walking alongside mothers as they navigate the earliest seasons of parenthood. I homeschooled my oldest and prepared her for 4K, and that experience deepened my passion for early childhood development and accessible education.
These experiences shaped the heart of my work: creating safe, supportive, culturally aware care for families who deserve better.
